Dorn Cassidy is a Professional Engineer and the Vice President of Operations at Blackspur Oil Corp. Dorn is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of all areas within the company.
As an innovative and growing organization, Blackspur was very excited to be the first to implement SULFCAT® H2S removal technology. Knowing the potential of SULFCAT, Dorn was eager to get involved with Macrotek Inc. and collaborate on their new venture, H2Sweet Inc.
With the industry under pressure to improve environmental stewardship while becoming more capital efficient and transparent, he is excited to help bring change when it’s needed most.
Wes Suhai is a Certified Engineering Technologist and has 30 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, mostly focused on the production chemical sector of the energy industry. He has held senior management roles and most recently with the Product Line Manger for H2S scavengers, SAGD Business Development and Automation.
Wes Graduated from the Production Engineering Technologist program at SAIT in 1988 and since then has taken numerous opportunities to upgrade his education in Oilsands Mining, project management, management systems and environmental sciences.

Gerald Feschuk is a seasoned professional engineer with a strong business background and a comprehensive record of successful regulatory, environmental, policy, personnel and business management in both the private and public sectors.
With over 20 years experience in the Western Canadian energy regulatory system, Gerald has been a key player in environmental legislation development and has held leadership roles at both the Government of Alberta and the Alberta Energy Regulator. His experience spans an array of regulatory, environmental, risk management, and business development roles, and, Gerald possesses a combined 18 years of experience in industry and consulting across Canada and into the USA.
Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Christopher Ristevski is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Toronto and currently leads H2Sweet Inc.’s Process Engineering team. With 10 years of experience, he has a wide range of expertise in system design and selection, process design, process modelling, and equipment and controls selection.
Chris is an integral member of H2Sweet’s process team. He has led the development of the SULFCAT® system from its inception in 2014, and is now responsible for the implementation of SULFCAT systems worldwide.
Jennifer Peters is a senior Operations Technician with Blackspur Oil Corp. and has over 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, primarily in the junior sector.
Jennifer also has a background in internet marketing, graphic design and website construction. She is also a professional photographer and an active member of the PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada).
Jeff Saponja is the CEO of HEAL Systems, a Schlumberger joint venture. It was during his tenure at producer TriAxon Oil Corp. that he and his team were able to identify the root cause of horizontal artificial lift challenges. Their drive for innovation resulted in the design and development of the HEAL System™.
Today, the HEAL System has over 400 installs across North America. Previous his work history included senior management positions with Weatherford, Shell UK, and Husky Energy.
